DECREE No. 0002

On the Occasion of Rachel's Birthday

Let it be known throughout the hedgerows, and to all persons of good standing therein,

that it has come to the attention of this Court, by report of our diligent criers, that the good lady Rachel has lately observed her honourable birthday. We receive this intelligence with the greatest joy, and direct that it be entered into the Royal Record and marked with due celebration.

We have furthermore been fortunate to acquire a Royal Webmaster of sufficient skill to tend our Digital Realm, who has established this Web Site according to what he assures us are the latest digital fashions. It is therefore by this newly raised instrument that we are pleased to convey to the lady Rachel our warmest congratulations and best wishes upon her special day.

And the Court being now possessed of a Proper Digital Realm, it would be our pleasure to hear from her at her convenience — to learn of her doings, to share with her our own, and to know in what manner we might best serve. Correspondence is received with gladness at any address of @courtofhedgehogs.com, such as queen@courtofhedgehogs.com or chamberlain@courtofhedgehogs.com, the Lord Chamberlain being charged with the answering of correspondence of state.

A hedgehog of the Court, bearing good wishes

Congratulations again, dear Rachel, and many happy returns of the day.

By Our own paw, and ever with you from the hedgerows,
Her Majesty the Queen of the Hedgehogs
